The aim of the "4th International Conference Polar Climate and Environmental Change in the Last Millennium" to be held on August 28–30, 2026 in Toruń, Poland is to present the current state of knowledge on climate and environmental changes in polar regions over the last millennium. The conference will showcase scientific achievements in the field of historical climatology of polar areas, based on meteorological observations and measurements, as well as historical, dendrochronological, paleolimnological, geophysical, geomorphological, and other types of research.
